What’s another ninety dollar siphoning? -sad. Moving past that and getting everything signed as the gap insurance fee was more than lowballed trade-in. The key fob. Hahaha, Oy. I wish there had been disclosure of a BUSTED UP KEY FOB, gap, and surcharge. Guessing it’s just under 2k total for the three. But yippie. A car dealership. **edit in response of “transparency”. Pic that drove original dialogue to drive an hour one way. 5 k was offered as down payment post this at 15% suggested loan. Obviously the payment changed though finance guy went into magic mode upon talks stalling with agreed 4K down (time delay to move funds for more down) and came in just 70 dollars under original suggested 15%. Which then the lack of transparency came to light. The insistence of GAP. Mind you, hour one way. Baking in the sun in trade in car an hour… exhausting/exhausted. Finance guy worked the numbers, lower % and played the gap fee to ensure there was money being made. Yay, again. Off a disabled senior. We offered to walk away, but 4000k is apparently enough for them to badger to the end. Blah, end game. Just as there was more money available for down payment. Once the dust settles. This loan will be bought out promptly. I’m covering key fob replacements, oil change <—hitting my mother up for GAP but then sending us off the lot needing to maintenance an oil change? Odd, alas. 1200 trumped up gap fee that was hidden post the process of waiting on the finance guy in the hot sun. Meh, 5 star down to one. “Transparency” pro tip: I should not hear sales persons discussing with other sales persons about a customers FICO score of a 480. Another aspect where the overall experience rates a one star. It’s bad form.

Absolute nightmare. Love my truck though. I was lied to and told that the Doc fees are state mandated. They are not under RSMO 301.558 (they can be mandated by the dealership but not the state). I was also told I wouldn't need to go to the DMV since I added the tax on the loan. Also a lie, I did in fact need to go to the DMV. And last, I did not receive a call or text stating my Title was ready for pickup. I had to call 3 months later to which they said "we sent you a text". Sure you did, I never received a text or a call. Don't go here. Go somewhere that genuinely cares. I will be filing a complaint!

The service department at Clement is always top notch. They are timely, professional and go above and beyond. My service advisor Alyssa is amazing. The lady that ran the service desk when I arrived was dismissive and couldn't answer my questions regarding maintenance and didn't and just showed me on my way at the end of my appointment. I never received a record of service or the results of my complementary multi point inspection that may or may not have been done because I never got a record of service. I went to get my water pump replaced and they cracked the plastic around my radiator fan and they also screwed up a few lug nuts when I got my tires rotated. The bad, I was told a certain price online and then when we arrived and signed the paper work they refused to give us the deal agreed upon unless we bought the extended warranty which I did not want. He confirmed Only after I said, "Fine, let's write it up," he slides in an extra $620 doc fee. When called out, he claimed it was a "state-mandatory fee." It is not. The state merely caps the maximum amount a dealership can charge, and Clement chooses to charge the maximum. He then tried to cover it up by saying the dealership legally couldn't pay it. Be transparent from the start; don't lie to your customers. Since I was having the car shipped, I relied on a video walkthrough. I told him I knew it was a used car and expected some wear, but asked him to point out any deep scratches, rock chips, or dents. Instead, he repeatedly insisted the car was "perfect" with "no dents or scratches." The Reality: The car arrived with two very minor dents (which was fine and to be expected), a front was full of rock chips (some were to be expected by don’t tell me there is none), and 7 to 8 deep scratches that cut straight through to the primer. I also pointed out a stain on the headliner during the video and asked if it would be cleaned. He promised it would be. The car arrived with 3 stains still on the headliner. I asked the salesman to notify me when the car left the lot so I can add it to my insurance. He completely failed to do so. I only found out the car was gone when the transporter called me to say he pick the car up about 10 hours ago. I texted the salesman when the car arrived, I stated the car had a bunch of scratches and the stained headliner, instead of offering an apology or a solution, I received a defensive "cover-your-butt" response followed by a smart remark: "A little soap and water will take care of the head liner and the dealership can’t afford to repaint all of the used cars." He also claimed he inspected it before it loaded and the car looked good. In conclusion, the car itself is fine, but the salesman was completely unprofessional and once he knew he had the sale, he didn't care about the customer, he just wanted his commission check.

I took my car in for a diagnostic and was misled several times regarding the appointment time and drop off. When the car was finally dropped off I was told I’ll get a call update with the diagnostic results. Didn’t receive a call and it took two days for the diagnostic to be done. Meanwhile my calls were sent to Ai system they use and I only received text messages back regarding my car status. When I went to pick up the car, the battery was dead, and the technicians manually opened the door using the keys by removing the key fob cover on the door handle (left it inside the car) and didn’t even have the courtesy to notify me at pickup the car is dead. I went back to the desk since the car was not responding and the guy at service desk came out and reset the battery for me and put back the key fob cover and casually acted like everything was normal. Hyundai overall has been a big disappointment. Will never buy another Hyundai nor let anyone i know buy one.

I brought my vehicle to the dealership to address an oil leak that I was told would be covered under my extended warranty. Initially, the service department informed me that the required part was on backorder, but assured me that all repairs would be covered the following day however, I was told the repair was no longer covered because the vehicle was still protected under the original drivetrain warranty and that I would now be responsible for a $200 diagnostic fee. The conflicting information was frustrating and disappointing. I explained that I did not believe I should be charged for a repair I had previously been told was covered when I requested to speak to the service manager the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. The manager was condescending, and during the conversation made an inappropriate remark asking whether I made a habit of stealing money from people when discussing the disputed fee, recognizing that the discussion was no longer productive. I I requested that they bill me and return my key so that I could leave. The manager refused to do either. I’ve been informed the staff that my husband would come retrieve the keys and that I intended to leave using my spare set at that point the situation escalated significantly to members of the service department. Use their personal vehicles to block me in while another employee aggressively banged on my window and yelled at me feeling unsafe. I called 911 after hearing the disturbance in the background, the dispatcher advised me to remain in my vehicle into law enforcement arrived. Once the police arrived. The manager’s demeanor changed entirely. The responding officer escorted me back into the dealership so that I could retrieve my keys and cancel my warranty coverage. This was one of the most disturbing and unprofessional customer service experiences. I have ever encountered the lack of communication, professionalism and respect throughout the situation was unacceptable.

Lady at the counter was rude argued with the customer and said, yes, you did say you wanted that instead of taking responsibility for their mistake. Just another example how for their service is.I would avoid this place at all cost! Beware!

Bought my car brand new in 2023. Had around 11 miles on it. 3 years in, the paint on the hood and fender is completely peeling. I’m at 41,000 miles and they said since I’m at 3 years and more than 38,000… it’s not covered? But there’s a white car, same make, under recall due to the paint peeling. I will NEVER buy from this company again. There’s a whole Facebook group about Hyundai paint peeling and nobody ever fixing it. If I could do negative stars, I would.

Dominic was fantastic!! Gina was awful Dominic was very helpful in showing me several vehicles. Gina talked super fast, didn't explain well and didn't give me my contract in office. She said she would PDF it via email. I then had to drive an hour and 20 minutes back to the dealership to retrieve it: it was my first time buying a new vehicle.

Went in to purchase a new Kona. Took way to long to do the deal. 5 hours and was left on our own for alot of that time.. did get a good deal finally but the followup was a nightmare. Took 2 weeks to receive the title and final paperwork. Clement Took 23 days to payoff our trade in. They had our trade in on their used car lot on web page for sale. When we were doing the deal was told by salesperson to get a 20 day trade in pay off, did not say 20 business days. When I spoke to manager Ryan after 2 weeks had past he said that Clement had 20 business days to complete pay off. Ryan was very unfriendly and belligerent. This is the second vehicle that we have purchased from Clement and we will not be purchasing anymore from them,
